History
In 1988, Rural Bank of Pandi chose 18 residents of Manatal to be trained under the Integrated Rural Financing project of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
When the program stopped in 1991, the remaining pilot group converted the effort into a cooperative. Fifteen incorporators registered Manatal Coop with the Cooperative Development Authority on August 22, 1991 under registration number MLA-1232.
